WHO WE ARE:   A group with a heart for serving others and sharing the love of Christ with those near and far. The vision for this project came through much prayer by the small group leaders and members of The Source Project, a part of the small group ministry of Journey Church in Riverview, FL. God is our source. Water is the source of life. Small groups are the source by which we connect with each other.

WHY WATER?   One billion people on the planet do not have access to clean, safe drinking water. The statistics are staggering. But this isn't about statistics. This is about our hearts. This project was birthed from a burning passion to reach out, get outside ourselves, and make a difference in the lives of those who don't have nearly the quality of life we have. Our goal is to work together to fund a deep bore well for a village in Uganda, Africa. To provide clean drinking water for thousands who currently only know miles and miles of walking for swamp water which makes them sick and kills more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. Our hearts break over the senseless suffering and death, as well as the people who remain who go without the basic necessities of life on a daily basis. We have so much, and this is the time for us to share it!
