Why Northern Uganda and Why Now?
Their need for help at this time is immense.

The Ugandan people have suffered a brutal 22-year war. Children were kidnapped and forced to become child soldiers, while over a million people were tortured, killed, or forced into overcrowded displacement camps with horrific living conditions.

The good news is that families are now returning to their villages to begin their lives again. We have a way to help!

Why Water?
While there are many problems in Northern Uganda, most of them stem from the lack of clean drinking water. After we went to Uganda and were overwhelmed by their many needs, we asked them to tell us about their most crucial need. They clearly expressed that the most desperate need was clean water.

With clean water, the Ugandan people will be healthier. As they get healthier, they will be able to go to school and work. As they become more educated, they will be able to provide for themselves.
